SRINAGAR, Feb 16: The District Sports Development Association (DSDA) Srinagar is going to organize two day Carrom Championship at Islamia College, Indoor Sports Facility, Hawal on February 23 and 24, 2015.
The event would be organized under the auspices of J&K Sports Development Association and in it competitions for two categories of Under-14 and Open Category would be held. The event is open for everyone in both male and female section, a DSDA statement read.
“Our aim is to revive the sports events that have lost their existence in the State. We will give players chance to show their talent thereby it will act as wake up call for concerned associations,” said DSDA president Tariq Ghani.
The Association has asked all the players desirous to take part in the Championship to contact JKSDA, joint secretary, on mobile number: 9419060436 for registration or Islamia College sports authorities.
