JAMMU, Jan 30: To enhance the confidence and speaking skill of the students, Delhi Public School (DPS), Jammu organized a story telling and English recitation competition for students of pre-primary and class 1st, respectively.
Around 40 students from different sections participated in each competition with great enthusiasm.
In Story Telling Competition, Samiksh Sahney and Tanmai Mantoo stood first while second position was shared by Anand Dubey, Ridhi and Kashvin. The third position was bagged by Rishyka and Aadvik Sharma.
In English Recitation Competition, Aayat Fatima and Danish Talwar stood first while second position was bagged by Anbreen Anjum and Ayn Bhola. The third position was shared by Mohd Noman and Anshita Mahajan.
The competition was judged by Meenu Parshotam and Ritu Vohra.
Dr D Joseph, Additional Director and Principal of the school, distributed prizes among the winners and appreciated the efforts put in by the teachers and parents for training the tiny tots.
