Jammu, Oct 21: Delhi Public School Jammu organized Inter-House Solo Competition for the students of senior wing in the School premises, here today.
Roshi Shaminotra, Assistant Instructor in Music from Arts College, Jammu was the judge of the event.
Based on Indian classical style of singing, the theme of the competition was devotional songs, wherein the audience got he opportunity to relish spiritual renditions based on Indian Classical Ragas and Raginis, which were set to tune and rhythm on accompanying instruments-Harmonium, Tabla, Tanpura, Synthesiser and Marracus.
The judge also presented a classical piece based on Rag Miya Malhaar on the occasion.
School Principal, S Sonar was ecstatic to see the talent of the students.
