JAMMU, Dec 27: Pursuing the vision to develop scientific attitude in the students, a Science Exhibition for classes VI-VIII was organized in the premises of Delhi Public School (DPS), here.
The Exhibition was aimed to make the young generation realize the interdependence of science, technology and growth.
The students presented their exhibits and models with a sense of pride in their talent display.
The exhibition displayed a high level of creativity, innovation and motivation in both students and teachers.
Dr Baldev Singh, Senior Principal Scientist, RRL Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion, while Dr. Gurdarshan Singh, Senior Scientist, RRL Jammu was the guest of honour.
The occasion was also graced by delegates from Canada, Grath and Jggy, who inaugurated the exhibition.
The highlights of the Exhibition were models on Green House, Rainwater Harvesting, Organic Village, Science City, Life on Mars, Future Earth 2050 and Maglev etc.
The project on Rainwater Harvesting was adjudged the best exhibit in Class VI, Ambident Back Scatter bagged the best project in Class VII and Solar Street System was adjudged the best project in Class VIII.
The students and teachers were applauded by the Headmistress, Meenu Gupta, Additional Director/Principal, Dr D Joseph, DPS Jammu conveyed congratulatory message to the participants.
