DPS Jammu organizes Mini Football, Inter-House Basketball Competition

JAMMU, Nov 2: Delhi Public School, Jammu organized ‘Mini Football Competition’ for the students of class Prep in the school premises, here today.
Final match was played between Team ‘A’ and team ‘B’. The match was entertaining and fun-filled. Zeal and zest of the children was seen during the game. Team ‘B’ won the match by 4:2.
Simultaneously, Inter-House Basketball Competition was organized for girls by the Department of Physical Education & Sports of Delhi Public School, Jammu. Five Houses namely, Chenab, Ganga, Jhelum, Tawi and Yamuna participated in the Competition. The Competition was organized to promote and develop skill amongst the girls of 6th to 8th class.
The final match was played between Jhelum and Chenab House. The players of Chenab House performed well and clinched the title by defeating Yamuna House by 4 points.
Ruchi Chabra, Principal and Meenu Gupta, Headmistress DPS Jammu congratulated the winners and lauded the efforts of the participants and the coach for preparing the teams.
The matches were officiated by Sudesh Manhas, Shambu Dutt and Amit Kour.
