SRINAGAR, Oct 21: Downton Hero’s FC trounced J&K Forest team by 2 goals to 1, while another match between J&K Police XI and J&K Bank Academy ended with 1-1 draw in the ongoing Khyber Milk Premier Football League-21, being played at Synthetic Turf TRC, here today.
The 1st match was played between J&K Forest XI & Downtown’ Hero’s FC. As the play started, the defence lines of both the teams attacked against each other’s goal post but it was in the 45th minute of the play when Frank breached the defence lines of J&K Forest XI and ensured the initial goal for Downtown Hero’s FC. In the 2nd half, Frank of Downtown Hero’s FC also managed another goal for his team in the 55th minute, while in the 74th minute Javaid Ahmad scored a marvellous goal for Forest team.
The 2nd match was played between J&K Police XI & J&K Bank Academy as both the teams tried hard to secure initial goal but J&K Police succeeded to clinch initial goal through Mansoor in the 18th minute of the play, while in the 2nd half, J&K Bank equalised the game in the 83 minute of the game through Huzaif Shafi and the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
Meanwhile, in the ongoing 2nd round of A-Division Annual League Football tournament 2021, the match between Al-Ahlam FC & Real Cosmos FC ended in a 1-1 goal draw. Adil was the scorer for Al-Ahlam & Umair for Real Cosmos.
