JAMMU, Jan 11: Getting the better of Block Bhalwal in a close contest via sudden death by seven goals to six (7-6), Block Domana lifted the title trophy of the Inter-Panchayat/Block Level Football Tournament at GGM Science College, here today.
For Domana, the goals were scored by Pranav, Jatin, Jayant, Nitin, Ajay, Manik and Shiv Darshan, while for Bhalwal, Parveen, Rahul, Aryaan, Ritish, Abhishek and Dinesh were the goal scorers.
The Tournament was organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports J&K in collaboration with J&K Sports Council.
The competitions were organised under the patronage of Dr Saleem-ur-Rehman, Director General, Youth Services and Sports J&K, while the matches were conducted through District Football Association (DFA) Jammu.
Sukhdev Raj Sharma, who was the Organising Secretary of the tournament, was laso the chief guest on the valedictory function, who lauded the efforts of the officials of Youth Services and Sports, J&K Sports Council and J&K Football Association for organising the event in a befitting manner.
The matches were officiated by a panel of experts.
