JAMMU, Mar 16: Dogra College of Education IQAC and Social Cultural Committee organised a programme in the College premises.
The programme is one of the momentous occasions when the college entrusts hope, faith and the mantle of responsibility to the new entrants. Gulchain Singh Charak, Chairman, Dogra Educational Trust graced the occasion. The programme started with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the dignitaries followed by the welcome address by Arushi Sharma, President, Student Council, DCE.
Power Point Presentation was given by Arushi Sharma, President, Student Council, DCE and Rohini, Vice- President, Student Council, DCE. They shared their experiences to inform the students about the college activities.
Chairman, Gulchain Singh Charak, in his presidential address congratulated the entire team. He emphasized on maintaining the high standards of teacher education courses and said that discipline is the key to success and hard work in the respective field always pays in the long run.
Dr Shefali Sharma, Coordinator, IQAC, DCE appreciated the students and admonished them to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties. Dr Vikesh Kumar Sharma, Principal, DCE welcomed the newcomers and gave detailed information of the college achievements. He also shared the information pertaining to academic rules and regulations of the college.
