JAMMU, Mar 7: Divine Light Convent School, Dablehar celebrated its 2nd Annual Day in the School premises, near here today.
Sham Lal Chaudhary, Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control was the chief guest on the occasion, while Sarpanches Kulvinder Singh, Rashpal Singh and Tarsem Lal, besides Jasbir Singh, Chairman Unique Higher Secondary School, Gadigarh were the special guests.
Chairman of Divine Convent School, Jagdish Gupta and its Principal, Rinku Sharma were also present on the occasion.
The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest and other dignitaries, which was followed by a formal welcome address by the Principal, in which he read out the Annual Report of the School also.
The students presented various cultural items which were appreciated by one and all.
Later-on, the academically meritorious students of the school were felicitated by the chief guest on the occasion.
Vote of thanks was presented by Priya Sharma, Teacher, while the Programme concluded with the presentation of National Anthem.
