BANDIPORA, Dec 2: Ninth District Table Tennis Championship, organised by District Table Tennis Association Bandipora under the aegis of J&K Table Tennis Association in collaboration with J&K Sports Council, concluded, here today.
In this tournament more than 40 players participated including both boys and girls under the categories of sub-junior, junior and seniors.
In sub-junior boys, Shoaib Rafiq Bhat defeated Sadatullaha by 2-3 sets while in junior boys category, Imran Ramzan trounced Shoaib Khoja by 3-2 sets and Junaid Iqbal defeated Mir Umair by 3-0 sets in senior boys category.
In girls category, Saniya trounced Ifra by 3-2 sets.
Raja Saleem, former Ranji player was the chief guest of the closing ceremony while Satinder Singh, Manager SK Stadium Bandipora and Wasif Majid, district vice president of Apni Party were the guests of honour.
