KATHUA, Oct 30: District Kho-Kho Championship was organized in collaboration with the Physical Education Department at Govt Degree College, here today.
College Principal, Prof Rajkiran Sharma was the chief guest on the occasion who interacted with players along with Dr JS Sodan, Physical Director and Tarun Kumar Sharma, general secretary District Association.
More than 15 teams, both men & women participated in the event. Semi-finals matches were organised in both men and women teams here and finals will be conducted tomorrow.
The matches were officiated by Amrinder Pal Singh, Sunil Sharma and Ambika Jasrotia, whereas the event was organised under the supervision of Er Nirmaljit Singh, president of the Association. The event was sponsored by Himalaya Wellness Store, Axis Bank and Media Partner.
