JAMMU, Aug 25: District Jammu Thai Boxing Championship, being organized by District Jammu Thai Boxing Association, under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir Thai Boxing Association, got underway at Nand Public Higher Secondary School, Muthi, here today.
Around 250 players drawn from different Schools and Clubs are participating in this 2-day Championship.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Sandeep Mehta was the chief guest on the OPENING CEREMONY, WHILE Paramjeet Singh, Managing Director of Nand Public Higher Secondary School was the guest of honour.
The chief guest appreciated the efforts made by the Association in boosting sports activities in the district.
The Championship was organized by Ankush Sharma, organizing secretary of the Association.
