JAMMU, Dec 4: District Jammu was leading in the medal tally on Day-2 of the 12th J&K State Wushu Championship, being organized by Wushu Association of J&K at MA Stadium, here.
District Samba was on second spot as the sub junior boys and girls bouts were played today.
The senior men and women bouts will be played tomorrow followed by the presentation ceremony at 4:30 pm. Chowdhary Lal Singh will be the chief guest on the occasion.
The gold medal winners in Under-5 boys 15 kg, 18 kg and open categories were Yugveer Singh, Areeb Mushtaq and Kamran Ali respectively, while the gold medals in Under-7 boys 15 kg, 18 kg, 20 kg, 24 kg and open category went to Vasu, Irfan, Jagjeet, Aditya Tickoo and Anirudh Shiner respectively.
Garvik and Ikjot won gold medals in Under-9 boys 20 kg and 24 kg respectively.
