JAMMU, Jan 28: Three days 6th District Handball Championship in men and women began at STC Ground MA Stadium, here today.
The Championship is being organized by the J&K Handball Association in collaboration with J&K State Sports Council.
About 120 players of 8 different Handball clubs of the district Jammu are participating in the tournament.
The 1st match in Senior boys section was played between Sandeep Pal Club and Jammu Club in which Sandeep Pal Club defeated Jammu Club by 17- 14 goals.
The 2nd match in Senior Boys section was played between Sampark Handball Club and STC Jammu in which STC Jammu defeated Sampark Handball Club by 17-10 goals.
