RAJOURI, Mar 1: District Chess Championship concluded at Global Education Mission Academy, Kotranka.
Amit Kumar won the first position in boys section while second position was claimed by Jagdeep Singh and Paramveer Singh secured the third place.
In girls section, Ahatsham Fatima bagged first position and Needhi Thakur secured second position. Bindhu got 3rd position.
All the matches were held under the supervision of JR Thakur, President Rajouri District Chess Association who distributed the prizes among the winners.
Total 30 players participated in the event.
All the matches were held as per International rules of chess.
Selected players will be eligible for Jammu Division Chess Championship, which will be held this month.
