Director KCPS Arti Chowdhary attends Global Conference

Jammu, Mar 31: Arti Chowdhary, Director, KC Public School, is currently attending a Global Conference on school education at the historical port city of Yokohama in Japan from March 29 to 31, 2017. The Conference was being attended by more than 1500 delegates from 33 countries of the world. The objective of the Conference is to explore ways and means to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help create a better and more peaceful world through inter-cultural understanding and respect.
The Crown Prince and Princess of Japan graced the inaugural session of the Conference as guests of honouron March 29. The Governor of Yokohama and officials of the Ministry of Education, Japan, were also present on the occasion.
The key speakers at the Conference are Dr. Alma Harris, Professor of Educational Leadership and Policy at the Department of Education, University of Bath, UK, Dr. Noriko Arai,Director of Research Centre for Community Knowledge, Japan and Dr. Yong Zhao, Professor, School of Education, The University of Kansas, USA.
Arti Chowdhary represents the new generation of educational leadership fully involved in and committed to the challenge of bringing about a global dimension to school education and her experience of attending this significant global educational conference is bound to have a positive impact on the educational aspirations and objectives of KC Public School.
