REASI/UDHAMPUR, Nov 5: District Level Painting Competition was organized by E T Cell of DIET Reasi today for secondary classes at DIET premises, here today.
35 students from 12 Schools of District Reasi participated in the Competition.
The participants prepared their paintings on the themes- Swach Bharat Abhiyan, Jammu and Kashmir before and after Flood and Life of People at Border.
Darshan Lal, Principal DIET Reasi was the chief guest on the occasion, who inaugurated the event.
5 best paintings adjudged by the jury included paintings of Janvi Nayyar from Pine Land Public School Katra, Ashina Thakur Govt H S Aghar Jitto, Sheetal Bloach and Abhishek Kumar both from Presentation Convent School Reasi and Aman Bassan G H S Kheral.
Akram Khan, Virender Dutta, Sanjay Zutshi, K C Sharma and Pooja Puri were the jury members.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were O N Raina, Sushma Verma, Vedotma Gupta, Asha Kumari, Sonia Choudary, Ajay Mahajan and Narinder Sharma.
Meanwhile a Painting Competition was also organized by DIET Kud at GHSS Udhampur, today.
Chief Education Officer, Udhampur, Balbir Singh was chief guest on the occasion, who later-on distributed prizes among the winners. The first position was bagged by Sonu of Govt City HS Udhampur, while the second position was won by Shivani Devi of Govt GHSS Udhampur and the third position went to Pallavi Sharma of Govt M S Southan. Vishal Singh and Sapna Sharma of Govt HSS Majalta and Govt HSS Khoon respectively claimed 4th and 5th positions respectively.
