RAJOURI, Nov 13: DIET Rajouri organized Jawaherlal Nehru National Science, Mathematics and Environmental Exhibition which was inaugurated by Principal DIET Rajouri Pardeep Kumar Sharma.
Over 65 models from all the 15 zones were displayed during the exhibition.
The displayed models included 16 models from Sr. Secondary Level, 44 models from Secondary Level and 6 models from Elementary Level.
A team from SIE Jammu including Sarita Anand, Field Advisor, Mangal Dev and Gopal Anand , Research Officer adjudged the models.
Pardeep Kumar Sharma, Principal DIET Rajouri and a renowned scientist and Patent holder in his inaugural address highlighted the history, need and achievements of these exhibitions which are held throughout the country.
In Higher Secondary Level category, MET HSS Dangri secured the 1st, HSS Sunder Bani 2nd and HSS Rajouri (B) 3rd position, while In High School Level category, HSS Sunder Bani (B) secured 1st while GHS Khari clinched 2nd and GHS Channi Prat bagged the 3rd position.
In Elementary category, HS Bajnova secured 1st, HEM Rajouri 2nd and HS Khari secured the 3rd position.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Roaf Dar, Senior Lecturer and Manzoor Ganai.
