REASI, Oct 13: DIET Reasi, in collaboration with J & K State Board of School Education Jammu (Adolescence Education Cell), organized District Level National Role Play Competition, here today.
Earlier, a similar competition was organized at zonal level, wherefrom the winner teams were called for District Level competition.
Participants performed on a variety of themes related to adolescence education, healthy relationship among adolescents and proper guidance at this age.
All the zones of the district participated in the Competition. Principal, DIET Reasi, Darshan Lal was the chief guest on the occasion, while Sushma Verma, HoD presided over the function.
The Objective of the event was to promote adolescence education through role plays.
A variety of themes under adolescence education were selected to present role plays competition. The themes included Healthy relationship among adolescents, Charms and challenges of adolescence, HIV/ AIDS: “Stigmatisation”.and Cause and Impact of drug abuse.
Govt Higher Secondary School Salal, Govt Higher Secondary School (Boys) Reasi and HS Kotli Bhaga were adjudged 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively.
The top winner team would now represent at Province Level Competition.
The judges of the event included Raj Rahee noted playwright, Mohd Akram Khan, Master DIET Reasi and Jaswinder Kour, lecturer DIET, Reasi.
M Akram Khan was Coordinator of the Competition.
