JAMMU, July 7: Under Inspire Award Scheme, the District Institute of Education and Trainings (DIET), Jammu organized 2nd District Level Science Exhibition at Government Higher Secondary School Gandhi Nagar, here today.
The 2-day Exhibition which had begun here yesterday was participated by 60 students drawn from various institutions of district Jammu. The students displayed their Science Models and Projects on the occasion.
AC Aima, Joint Director Trainings/Principal SIE Jammu was the chief guest on the valedictory function, while Natha Ram Dhingra was the guest of honour, who later-on distributed prizes among the winners of the exhibition.
The schools which have been selected for participating in the State Level Science Exhibition included Government HSS Marh, Girls HSS Bakshi Nagar, GMS Rakh Bandhu Bala, HS Raipur Satwari and GMS Shikla Grian Kullian.
Principal DIET Jammu PK Durani was also present on the occasion, who in his welcome address highlighted the importance of the Exhibition.
Kulbir Singh, HOD presented vote of thanks, while the proceedings of the programme were conducted by Lecturer, Tarseem Singh.
