JAMMU, Mar 5: Students of Dogra Higher Secondary School (DHSS) made a generous contribution to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund, handing over a cheque to the representative of the Zila Sainik Board Jammu during a brief ceremony held on the school campus.
The initiative was carried out under the guidance of Dr Samar Dev Singh Charak, Managing Director Gambhir Dev Singh Charak and Principal Major Bhawna Devi (Retd).
The programme aimed at expressing gratitude to the nation’s armed forces and supporting the welfare of serving personnel, veterans and families of martyrs. Students actively participated in the fund collection drive, demonstrating a strong sense of patriotism and social responsibility.
Principal appreciated the students’ efforts and said such initiatives instill values of service and gratitude among young minds while strengthening the bond between educational institutions and the armed forces.
