JAMMU, Nov 29: An ace bodybuilder Dhananjay Singh Charak and Sub-Inspector Ashish Sharma have been awarded with Sher-e-Kashmir Award for their outstanding performances in the fields of Body Building and Handball.
Dhananjay Singh Charak had represented India on various occasions including 49th Mr Asia Body Building Championship held at Tashkent in Uzbekistan in 2015, 8th Mr World Body Building Championship held at Pattaya City in Thailand in 2016 and 51st Mr World Championship held at Seoul in South Korea in 2017 and won Mr World title of 2016 held at Thailand. He was the first bodybuilder of J&K UT who secured 5th place in the prestigious Amateur Olympia held at Mumbai in 2018 and achieved Mr Olympia title also.
They were awarded with memento, a track suit and cash prize of Rs 51000 each by Government of J&K UT in a simple function held recently at MA Stadium.
