JAMMU, Sept 15: Powered by Nat Manch, Dhammika Kai Jammu District Karate Championship was organized today by Dhammika Kai J&K Karate Do Association at Baby Caterers, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu.
Over 300 participants from different schools including Adarsh Vidya Niketan Public School, Casper Playway School, Rising Star, Tiny Booboos, The First Step, Kids Campus and Doon Hills took part in the championship under the supervision of Sensei Umesh Rekhi, 5th Dan black belt, president Dhammika Kai J&K Karate Do Association and J&K KAI Refree.
Dr Santosh Gupta, Retired Professor, Dean Jammu University and Regional Secretary, Bharat Vikas Parishad, was the chief guest while Vanita Kohli, Prantiya convenor, Bharat Vikas Parishad, Tarun Sharma, president and founder of Nat Manch and 2nd Dan black belt KAI and Noor Mohd, president, Dhammika Kai Jammu District Karate Association, were the guests of honour.
The officials and coaches who conducted the bouts were Anup Singh (2nd Dan black belt), Ashwani Kumar, Tanisha Mahajan, Sahil Sambyal, Vikas Singh Charak, Amit Sharma and Sourav Mehra.
