JAMMU, Nov 16: To review the arrangements for hosting the prestigious 61st National School Games in the discipline of cricket Under-17 girls from November 28, 2015 at Jammu, Director General Youth Services and Sports, Jehangir Mir chaired a meeting of the officers of the Department in his office chambers, here today.
While addressing his officers from various districts of the State, who will be heads of important committees framed for the conduct of the Tournament, Mr Mir stressed upon them to ensure smooth and successful conclusion of the Tournament.
He asked them to leave no stone unturned in providing utmost facilities to the visiting contingents with regard to comfortable stay, transportation and medication.
Apart from constitution of other committees, Mr Mir also framed a committee which has been assigned the job of preparing a souvenir to be released on the opening ceremony of the Tournament.
