Delhi, HP, Punjab bag top ranks in U-14 Team C’ship; HP, Delhi, Haryana in U-14 Artistic Yogasan

*J&K secures runner-up positions in Group Song, Saraswati Vandana competitions

JAMMU, Aug 13: Vidya Bharti North Zone 30th Yogasan Sports Competition in the disciplines of team game, artistic and rhythmatic organized by Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti, Jammu and Kashmir organized in BVM High School Ambphalla for under-14, 17 and 19 boys and girls concluded today. Around 150 players from 5 States of North Zone participated in the competition.
On the valedictory function, the chief guest was Sat Sharma MLA Jammu West and State President BJP J&K. The programme was presided over by Ram Lal, Senior Vice President BSS J&K. Pradeep Kumar, Sanghthan Mantri was the main speaker.
Sameer Saproo, Secretary BSS J&K and Khelkud Parmukh presented the welcome address and conducted the proceedings of programme.
Baldev Sharma Sports Incharge Vidya Bharti North Zone presented the report of the programme.
Rajesh Kumar was chief official from Delhi and was accompanied by his team of officials namely Khem Raj from HP, Raj Kumar from Punjab, Roshan Lal from Punjab, Amar Pal from Rohtak Haryana, Lata Thakur from Shimla and Rosy Jain from Delhi. Naresh Singh from Reasi officiated the competition.
MLA Sat Sharma awarded the winners of the competition in presence of General Secretary Vidya Bharti North Zone Surinder Atri, Sudesh Pal, Secretary, Hari Bhushan, Satish Mittal, Treasurer, Ranjana Bajaj and Suresh Parihar, Joint Secretaries BSS J&K, Pradip Singh, Principal BVM Ramban, Rakesh Marhatta, Principal BVM Ambphalla, Ved Bhushan, Dr Naresh Sharma, Reena Rajput, Shabnam Bali, Principal BVM Talab Tillo and Deshmesh Nagar, all Samiti members and staff members.
Lakshya of Delhi and Jasshenpreet of Punjab presented the Rhytmatic Yogassan in very scintillating manner. The students of BVM Ambphalla presented the group song based on national integration.
In the end, Ashok Babber, General Secretary Vidya Bharti Punjab and Khelkud Prabhari of North Zone presented the vote of thanks.
Final Result of Team Championship:
In under-14 boys category, Delhi emerged winner, while Himachal Pradesh and Punjab secured second and third positions respectively, whereas in girls category, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi and Haryana bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-17 boys, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi and Haryana clinched first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in girls category, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and Delhi bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-19 boys, Haryana, Delhi and Punjab secured first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in girls category, Haryana, Punjab and Delhi emerged winners.
Final Result of Artistic Yogasan:
In under-14 boys, Rishul Dhir of Delhi, Bhupinder of Himachal Pradesh and Vansh of Punjab bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in girls category, Avantika Verma of Himachal Pradesh, Sejal of Delhi and Anjali Jaglal of Haryana emerged winners.
In under-17 boys, Suryakaran Bhardwaj of Himachal Pradesh, Mann Singh of Delhi and Himanshu Chouhan of Punjab bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in girls category, Bhavna Sharma of Himachal Pradesh, Komalpreet Kour of Punjab and Surbhi Mishra of Delhi clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-19 boys, Rohit of Haryana, Amandeep of Punjab and Gautam of Delhi emerged winners, whereas in girls category, Manisha of Haryana, Shivalika of Delhi and Palak Garg of Punjab secured first, second and third positions respectively.
Final Rest of Rhythmatic Yogasan:
In under-14 boys, Jayant Sharma of Delhi, Kunal of Himachal Pradesh and Himanshu of Punjab bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in girls category, Aarushi of Himachal Pradesh, Shweta of Delhi and Anchal of Punjab secured first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-17 boys, Gorang of Haryana, Akhilesh of Himachal Pradesh and Vishal Yadav of Punjab bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in girls category, Preeti Thakur of Himachal Pradesh, Palak of Delhi and Damanpreet Kour of Punjab secured first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-19 boys, Lakshay of Delhi, Piyush of Punjab and Abhishek of Haryana bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in girls category, Jasanpreet of Delhi, Shruti of Punjab and Shivangi of Haryana secured first, second and third positions respectively.
In Group Song competition, Himachal Pradesh, J&K and Punjab bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in Saraswati Vandana competition, Himachal Pradesh, J&K and Punjab secured first, second and third positions respectively. In overall discipline, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and J&K bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
