SAMBA, Mar 19: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Samba, Rajinder Krishan Varma flagged off the students (boys and girls) for Inter-State Exposure Tour, under RMSA from District Complex Nandini Hills, here today.
Chief Education Officer Samba, Surinder Mohan Mahajan was also present on the occasion.
The Touring contingent comprised of 48 meritorious students of different schools of District Samba, who will visit Wagah Border, Golden Temple, Jalian Wala Bagh, Science city Jallandhar and Devi Talab Mandir, Punjab.
The main objective of this Educational Tour is to give exposure to the students of historical and educational importance of various monuments, places of scientific, cultural heritage and religious places.
The DDC apprised the students about the importance and values of such tours and asked them to take full benefit of this tour.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were District Education Planning Officer, Dhanter Singh; Assistant Director (Planning), Hari Dutt, DySP Hqrs Samba and Incharge RMSA, Tarsem Lal Sharma.
