POONCH, Dec 11: JKPCC general secretary and DDC Member from Surankote-A Block, Shahnawaz Choudhary along with SDM Surankote kick started construction work of first Sports Complex at Surankote, here today.
Speaking on the occasion, Shahnawaz Choudhary said that the youth of Surankote area is full of talent and potential but lacked infrastructure support and this step will bring revolution in the sports field.
He said that the electorate of the area gave me the opportunity to work for the youth of this area and assured the youth of Surankote that he is committed to work for them.
He thanked UT Administration for accepting his proposal for the same which was forwarded by him to UT Administration in the month of January of this year.
SDM Surankote said that the construction of the complex will pave the way for our youth towards sports fields and they will surely benefit from this complex. Locals present on this occasion, led by Sarpanch Lower Surankote, Tahir Mirza gave a warm welcome and garlanded Shahnawaz Choudhary, SDM and other dignitaries who graced the event.
Advocate Sheraz Bajar, Sikander Hayat, Imran Fazli, Ajaz Chouhan and Liaqat Mirza were also present during the event.
