JAMMU, Feb 26: DBN Vidya Mandir Amarvilla, Talab Tillo held Annual Prize Distribution function to felicitate the winners of curricular and co-curricular activities held in the ongoing session.
Rajesh Bakshi, CPO was the chief guest, while Vinod Chauhan SFC State Office, Additional Charge was the guest of honour and Vishal Sharma Advocate High Court was the special invitee. Vice President DBN Amarvilla Leela Karan Sharma presided over the function.
The musical choir of the school enthralled the audience with a melodious welcome song. It was followed by welcome address by the Principal, DBN Amarvilla.
The chief guest presented the trophies to the winners who excelled in various activities and competitions including various literary, sports/cultural and other co-curricular activities throughout the year.
Addressing the audience, Rajesh Bakshi CPO said that witnessing the programme took them on a nostalgic trip to their own childhood as they were the alumni of the school. He emphasized on the importance of discipline in the life of a student and advised them to grow up to become good human beings.
The function concluded with vote of thanks by Darshan Lal Sharma, Manager of the school.
