DBN school celebrates 56th Annual Day

JAMMU, Nov 6: DBN Vidya Mandir Amarvilla in collaboration with other two branches namely SNS Vidya Mandir and DBN Mubarak Mandi celebrated 56th Annual Day with zeal and excitement at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu here today.
On the occasion, Former Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Dr Nirmal Singh was the chief guest, while the function was presided over by the Chairman of DBN Trust Virendrajit Singh.
Principal DBN Amarvilla Praveen Jha presented the welcome address and shared the achievements of the school in academics and co-curricular arenas.
The day meticulously planned by all the three branches of DBN School showcased the year’s activities.
Principal DBN Mubarak Mandi Sonika Mahajan conducted the prestigious Yog Prakash Award ceremony, in which Jagdish Chander was honored with the award for his selfless lifelong contribution in the field of education.
The award was presented by Chairman Virendrajit Singh, Co Chairperson Nandita Singh and Secretary Gauri Nayar.
The theme of the event was ‘Parivartan-Ek Yatra”, which took the audience on a spectacular journey of change. The main highlights were various phases of change being showcases right from of Treta to the Dwaper Yug of Lord Rama and Lord Krishna, to the present day scenario, depicting changes in culture, traditions, politics, education system and so on.
In the end, Principal SNS Vidya Mandir presented vote of thanks.
