JAMMU, Jan 18: Twelve students and two teachers of DBN Amarvilla brought laurels in Inter State Junior Red Cross Training Camp held at Kurukshetra (Haryana). They won 14 trophies in different categories.
The main motto of the camp was to provide the children and their leaders an opportunity to inculcate the spirit of selfless service and to reach the objectives of the Red Cross amongst the students.
DBN Amarvilla was announced as the school with the maximum number of prizes won by all the 12 students and their two mentors. The DBN brought accolades in various categories and the prizes won in solo dance competition- third prize was won by Nitin, solo dance best performer won by Amrina Kousar, third prize – group dance comp, first prize won by Jatin of class 12th in solo singing comp, first prize in group song competition (boys), second prize in group song competition (girls) first prize in skit competition, first prize in extempore by Rishu Gupta, second prize in exhibition representing the food and the culture of J&K, third prize in Rangoli competition, first prize in lucky star game etc.
Best boys’ team was given to DBN Amarvilla, best performer was given to Gopika, both in singing and dancing, best singer and dancer was also bagged by the music teacher of DBN Amarvilla, Ramesh Parwana.
