RAJOURI, May 26: The third day of the Inter-Zonal District-Level Tournaments in Rajouri showcased exceptional talent and sportsmanship across various disciplines. Organized by the District Youth Services and Sports Office Rajouri, the day’s events featured Girls’ Under-14 competitions in Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, and Volleyball held at Rajouri and Lamberi, while Nowshera hosted the Boys’ Under-14 and Under-17 Hockey matches.
In the Girls’ Under-14 Kabaddi final, Zone Rajouri emerged victorious over Zone Thannamandi. The Kho-Kho final saw Zone Rajouri defeating Zone Thannamandi, while in Volleyball, Zone Rajouri clinched the title by defeating Zone Dhanesar.
In Nowshera, the Boys’ Under-14 and Under-17 Hockey matches were scheduled; however, due to the absence of opponents, Zone Nowshera was declared the winner by default.
The event was graced by ZPEOs Koushal Khajuria (Rajouri) and Wali Mohd (Baljarallan), who motivated the participants with inspiring messages on dedication, discipline, and the importance of sports in personal development.
