Dansal Chadali Challengers, Khanpur Panthers script convincing victories

JAMMU, Feb 10: Dansal Chadali Challengers and Khanpur Panthers registered convincing wins over their rivals in the Maruti Suzuki Nagrota Premier League Tournament, an initiative of MLA Devender Singh Rana.
Earlier, winning the toss at the Bajalta playfield, Dhansal Chadali Challengers elected to field first and wrapped the innings of Dhanu Super Heroes in 14 overs at 97 runs. Kaleem and Khadim scored 24 and 23 runs respectively.
Dansal Chadali Challengers won the match by 5 wickets. Nitin scored 58 runs, by hitting eight boundaries and two sixes and remained not out. For his brilliant performance he was declared as man of the match.
In the second match, Bocken Legends Jandrah won the toss and put Khanpur Panthers to bat first.
Khanpur Panthers scored 135 runs in prescribed 14 overs by loosing 7 wickets. Ajay scored 33 runs and Akash got out after scoring 29 runs.
For Bocken Legends Zahoor bowled brilliantly and took 2 wickets, giving away16 runs in his 3 overs.
Chasing the target Bocken Legends were able to score 59 runs only losing their all wickets.
For Khanpur Panthers Ashwin, Rajinder and Rahul claimed two wickets each. Rahul was adjudged Man of Match for his overall performance.
The matches were officiated by Pankaj Sasun and Jagtar Singh.
Both the matches were played under the overall supervision of Faheem Tak, Vice President Take-1 Channel and Member Organizing Committee.
In tomorrow’s fixture, Jagti Jari Legends will meet Chak Largan Eros and Shiv Legends Nagrota will face Jandyal Super Kings.
