JAMMU, Oct 23: A mega wrestling contest, first of its kind was organized at Pallanwallan, here.
President Dangal Committee, Pallanwallan, Joginder Singh and his team members organized the event, which was presided over by SHO Khour SI Mohd Iqbal Chagatta and SI Vishal Dogra.
The first bout was of Rs 51000 which was shared by Punjab wrestler Rehmat Ali and Jammu wrestler Benia Min, while the second bout of Rs 41,000 was won by Farooq of Saroor by defeating Delhi wrestler Mannu.
Tehsildar Khour, Rampal was the chief guest on the occasion, who distributed prizes among the wrestlers.
Thousands of people witnessed the bouts.
