JAMMU, May 10: Dalhousie Hilltop School announced the launch of their International Exchange Program with award winning schools such as St. Andrew and St. Verits in the US.
Students from Hilltop collaborate with students overseas to do joint projects that address global issues and promote social responsibility and cultural awareness.
In keeping with their long ties with J&K and continuous pursuit of promoting educational opportunities, DHS announced scholarships for students of J&K. This program offers a unique opportunity that most students don’t have a chance to experience. Students gain a new knowledge, cultural understanding, maturity and lifelong friendships.
“In today’s global environment it is imperative that we teach and train our J&K students to develop a strong sense of self confidence and self esteem, and learn, think and act as globally competent, responsible citizens” said Mrs. Poonam Dhawan, President Dalhousie Hilltop School.
“I’m so pleased to see the impact this program has had on my student. Going to India to attend classes at Hilltop School as a member of the assessment team from US has been a remarkable experience” said KC Cunningham, CEO of Waveset.
Dalhousie Hilltop School, recently received “Best Boarding School” award for offering such global dimension programmes that explore the interconnections between the local and the global and bring a unique and enriching learning experience for the students.
