Jammu, Aug 28: After traversing a distance of 290 Km across Chenab Valley, the Cycling Expedition of Delta Force reached Reasi.
The 20 volunteer local youth hailing from Kishtwar, showed grit and determination while staging forward on this treacherous and arduous route, after being flagged off from Kishtwar last Thursday.
These young boys who will be the ‘Messengers of Peace and Harmony’ in the region, will be interacting with General Officer Commanding Uniform Force, while they halt here for rest and maintenance.
During their break at Reasi the team visited Saral Dam, Reasi Fort and Sehar Baba Waterfall.
The expedition teams has been appreciative of this initiative by Delta Force, as it has helped instill a sense of confidence and achievement in them.
This expedition has also provided a unique exposure to these locals belonging to far flung and remote areas, to the development in the region.
