CSK’s leftarm pacer Khaleel Ahmed ruled out of IPL due to injury

CHENNAI, Apr 16: Five time winners Chennai Super Kings (CSK) bowling department suffering a set back  with key left arm pacer Khaleel Ahmed having been ruled out of IPL 2026 after suffering a right quadricep injury in the last game against Kolkata Knight Riders here on April 14.

The injury sustained will take more than 12 weeks to heal ruling Khaleel out of the rest of the IPL.

CSK wishes Khaleel Ahmed a speedy recovery.

Khaleel has taken just two wickets in five matches this season–1-40 against Delhi Capitals and 1-24 against KKR before leaving the ground without completing his last over, having bowled 3.5 overs.
