JAMMU, Jan 28: Crossway Cricket Academy and D-Drama (space for performing arts) were inaugurated at Alexander M School, Residency Road here.
The inauguration was done by JMC Mayor, Rajinder Sharma and Dr. Ritu Singh, chairperson FICCI FLO JKL in the presence of Dr. P.K Samanata Roy, Bishop of the Diocese of Amritsar.
The function was attended by a large gathering of imminent sports personalities, distinguished educationalists and others.
Former IGP Johnny William, the architect of this vision said that he was inspired to devote his post-retirement life to a worthy cause, which was to dedicate to the youth to build themselves physically and mentally.
The Crossway Cricket Academy has the amazing advantage of being in the heart of the city with professional coaching staff besides the provision of floodlight for evening hours for multiple sessions.
Delight William Kler, has taken up the daunting mission to start first ever Drama Academy for children in Jammu in the century old vintage Scottish Hall at the Alexander M School.
The Crossway Cricket Academy is being supervised by Rajbinder Singh Kler, a keen sportsperson mastering the nitty-gritty of the cricket affairs.
Johnny William in the end said that he had been the former state champion in Badminton and is familiar to fulfil this mission.
