Cricketers demand postpone of JKCA Samba

SAMBA, Nov 12: Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) had announced the election in District Samba and right to vote was given to only 4 clubs across the district, which is not justified.
This was stated by Samba XI Captain Rakesh Sambyal while interacting with media persons here today.
Sambyal said that 18 teams were eligible to vote, but only 4 clubs are being given the right to vote.
He asked the JKCA to postpone the JKCA election for Samba District and issue new election notification by giving the right to vote to all the cricket clubs.
On behalf of cricketers, Sambyal also demanded to conduct remaining matches of this year of Samba District.
“We took up the matter with Deputy Commissioner Samba and appealed him to resolve the issue so as to promote cricket under the guidance of talented cricketers”, Sambyal informed.
Among others present were Rahil Sambyal, Lablu Sambyal, Binku Sambyal, Rajiv Sharma, Radhe Shyam, Atul Sharma, Anku Jamwal, Digvijay Singh, Vikas, Gauran and Praveen Chaudhary.
