Cricket matches held in Jammu Police Sports Festival

JAMMU, Nov 21: In continuation to District Police Sports Festival-2017 for under-19 years (boys and girls) under Civic Action Programme (CAP) which is being organized under the overall supervision of SSP Jammu, today two matches of Cricket were played among 4 teams.
In girls section, Model Academy Jammu defeated Govt. Higher Secondary School Bakshi Nagar Jammu. Model Academy won by 9 wickets against the team of Govt. Higher Secondary School Bakshi Nagar Jammu. Aliya Hanief Kohli was announced woman of the match, who scored unbeaten 21 runs and took 2 wickets in the match.
In boys section Govt. Higher Secondary School Khour drubbed Boys Higher Secondary School Bahu Fort by 57 runs. Dinesh Mahajan was adjudged man of the match for scoring 33 runs and taking 1 wicket.
The events were played in professional manner under the supervision of expert officiating panel including Jagtar Singh, Madan Mohan, Suresh Singh, Mukesh Sharma and Sat Paul Singh Manhas whereas, the proceeding of the opening function were conducted by famous commentator RP Singh. BCCI Level-II Coach and Lecturer Physical Education, Rupali Slathia was also present on the occasion.
SP Hqrs, Jammu, RC Kotwal was the chief guest of the today matches, while Rajesh Gill, CPO NHRC, SI Kunti Devi PS Janipur, SI Kali Charan, I/C PP, Parade and ASI Manjit Singh DPL Jammu were present on the occasion.
