Corona Warriors Cricket Tournament begins

POONCH, Nov 8: Corona Warriors T10 Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament, organised by local youth commenced at Government Degree College Ground, here today.
The tournament is being organised by Amandeep Sharma, Deepak and George as mark of tribute to Corona warriors. About 24 teams of district Poonch are participating in this tournament.
Kuljeet Thakur (sports promoter) was the chief guest of the inaugural match while Ravinder Bitta (social activist), Pawan Kumar (JKCA) and Pervaiz Ahmed Afridi (chairman EHSAAS) were the guests of honour. The opening match was played between Game Changer and Mustafa XI.
Batting first, Mustafa XI scored 90 runs by losing 7 wickets in stipulated 10 overs while opponent team chased the target in 9.1 overs and won the match by 2 wickets.
The match was officiated by Sukwinder, Sourav and Deepak.
