KATHUA, Mar 9: Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council organised Block level competitions under Khelo India Scheme at Kartar Public School Ground, Barnoti, here.
More than 350 participants from different villages of Block Barnoti took part in the different events of Kabbadi, Volleyball, Athletics, Wrestling and Boxing.
Nirmal Singh, Chairman Kartar Public School was the chief guest on the occasion, while Abdul Qayoom, Chief Sports Officer J&K State Sports Council and Ravi Singh, Divisional Sports Officer J&K Sports Council were the guests of honour.
The events were officiated by Anil Sharma, Senior Kabbadi Coach, Mulkh Raj, Volleyball Coach and Atul Pangotra, Taekwondo Coach.
In the finals of Kabbadi, Rajbagh defeated village Buddhi and lifted the title, while in Volleyball Chann Arorian emerged winner, defeating RMC Buddhi.
Nirmal Singh distributed the prizes among the winners.
