UDHAMPUR, May 13: District Level Inter School Tournament for Under 14 and 17 years boys and girls in the disciplines of Kick Boxing, Mastogi-Do, Roll Ball and Cricket (boys) concluded here at Common Public School Udhampur, DPS Udhampur and Subash Stadium Udhampur.
Khalil Poswal, Additional Superintendent of Police was the chief guest.
Around 225 boys and girls drawn from different schools took part in the tournament.
Kick Boxing:
In Under 14 boys, gold medals were claimed by Nishant of Happy Model HSS, Maheshwer of Happy Model HSS, Eshan Sharma of APS Dhar Road, Bhanu Partap of Common Public HSS.
In Under 17 boys, Sachin of Common Public HSS, Kuldeep of APS Dhar Road, Robin of APS Dhar Road, Ritik of Common Public HSS and Abhishek of APS Dhar Road claimed gold medals.
In Under 14 girls, Shriya of Common Public HSS, Sunita of APS Dhar Road, Shaheen Kousar of APS Dhar Road, Akshita of APS Dhar Road and Manisha of APS Dhar Road bagged gold medals.
In Under 17 girls, Subanshika of Common Public HSS, Vanshika of Common Public HSS, Sonia Raina of Common Public HSS and Deepshikha of Happy Model HSS bagged gold medals.
Mastogi-Do:
In Under 14 boys, gold medals were claimed by Janish Atri of Common Public HSS, Arush Singh of National Academy and Ayush Sharma of Common Public HSS,
In Under 17 boys, Raghav Sharma, Pawan Kumar and Danish Kumar, all from Common Public HSS secured gold medals.
In Under 14 girls, Sonia Raina of Shanti Niketen, Apeksha Patyal, Vanshika Sharma, Shriya Gupta, Simran Sharma and Poonam Sharma claimed gold medals.
In Roll Ball Skating, Delhi Public School (DPS) smashed Happy Model School and claimed the title.
All the matches were officiated by Ajit Singh PEM, Som Dev Khajuria PEM, Naveen Sharma PEM, Romesh Chander PEM, Rajesh Kumar PET, Rakesh Khajuria PET, Gourav Sharma PET, Reena Gupta PET, Kanchan Bala PET, Rishi Kumar PET, Sanjeev Kumar PET, Nitin Rathore PET, Ranjit & YashPaul PET. Among others who present on the occasion were Sunam Lata Principal Common Public School Udhampur.
The tournament was organized by Department of Youth Services and Sports under the chairmanship of Sukhdev Singh, DYSSO Udhampur and activity incharge Sanjay Sharma, PEM, DYSS Office Udhampur.
