DODA, May 16: Combine Cricket Club (CCC) Ghat registered a big win over Royal Unhide Cricket Club (RUCC) Doda by 9 wickets in the ongoing All India 11th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship 2015 at Sports Stadium Doda.
The tournament is being organized by Young Star Cricket Club Doda and sponsored by J&K Bank, Rashtriya Rifles Bn Doda and Natnoo Furnishing House Doda.
Earlier, after winning the toss, RUCC Doda collapsed at paltry total of 56 runs. Amit Kotwal and Sunny Chandial scored 15 and 12 runs respectively. For CCC Ghat, Majid was the most successful bowler, who clinched 5 wickets, while Waqar and Ashraf took 2 wickets each.
In reply, CCC Ghat managed to chase the target in just 7.5 overs by losing 1 wicket, thus won the match by 9 wickets. Imran Tantray was the highest scorer from CCC Ghat who made 29 runs, while Waqar Ashraf scored 21 runs. From RUCC Doda, Rohit took the lone wicket to fall. Majid Wani was declared as man of the match for his superb bowling performance.
