JAMMU, May 14: Colonel RN Chopra Cricket Academy registered marvelous 68 runs win over the The Cricket Academy (TCC) and sailed into the next round of the ongoing Junior Pitch T-20 Tournament, being organized by Sehwag Cricket Academy at Heritage School, here.
Batting first, Colonel RN Chopra Cricket Academy scored 176 runs by losing 5 wickets in 20 overs. Ayush Andotra played a splendid inning of 68 runs, while Tushar Dhawan smashed some crispy shots and scored 51 runs. Jatin Shivgotra also contributed 38 runs to the total.
For TCC side, Dhrub and Yugan took 2 wickets each and Abu scalped one wicket.
In reply, TCC failed to chase the target and got bundled out at paltry 91 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 3 wickets. Dhrub scored 36 runs and remained not out, while Aditya Abrol and Harsh chipped in 18 and 8 runs and also remained not out.
For Colonel R N Chopra Cricket Academy side, Abhay and Jatin took 1 wicket a piece.
The Man of the Match award was presented to Ayush Andotra for his superb 68 runs inning.
