JAMMU, June 8: 5-days ‘Charitra Nirman Shivir’ was inaugurated by JP Shoor, Director, DAV Public Schools at MHAC School, Nagbani, here today. This Shivir is being attended by 100 students of various DAV Schools of J&K State, who will be involved in various activities during this Shivir. J&K Wing of ‘Arya Yuva Samaj’ was also inaugurated at MHAC, Nagbani premises on this auspicious occasion. The programme commenced with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by the chief guest. Among other dignitaries present were PP Sharma, Regional Director, Swami Chaitanaya Muni Ji and Capt Dewan Singh, Manager LMC. It was followed by a welcome song, mesmerizing Mantra recital and an engrossing dance presented by the students. In his welcome address, Principal Alok Betab threw light on achievements of students of MHAC. Meritorious students of class XIIth who achieved 97.6% and above 90% in 2013 CBSE results, were also honoured on the occasion. Various cultural items were presented by the students to grace the occasion. Capt Dewan Singh presented vote of thanks.
