Chandeep wins silver in World Taekwondo Para C’ship

JAMMU, Dec 13: Chandeep Singh-a Para-athlete of J&K once again scripted history by securing silver medal in 9th World Taekwondo Para Championship.
“It is really a matter of joy and pride that a Para athlete from J&K became the only two times silver medallist at World Taekwondo Para Championships,” said JKTA president D N Pangotra.
Chandeep Singh has been training under Atul Pangotra (Coach) for the past five years. The duo made the flag of the Nation proud by bringing laurels to the country and UT, D N Pangotra added.
The office bearers of the J&K Taekwondo Association (JKTA) congratulated Chandeep Singh on his victory and wished him good luck for the future endeavors and also thanked Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, Advisor Farooq Khan and Principal Secretary Alok Kumar for financially supporting him for the championship.
