REASI, Feb 25: Challenger Cricket Club Jammu defeated Ramban Cricket Club in a one-sided contest by 9 wickets in the ongoing Reasi Cup T20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by Reasi Cricket Club at Sports Stadium, here.
Earlier, batting first, Ramban CC bundled out for a paltry total of 93 runs in 19.4 overs. Surinder Singh was the top scorer with 34 runs, while Yasir and Imtiyaz chipped in with 13 runs each. Extras contributed 20 runs to the total. For Challenger Club, Ashok Jain and Bansi Lal scalped 3 wickets each, while Paras claimed 2 wickets.
Challenger Club, in reply reached the required target easily in 10.5 overs by losing just one wicket, thus won the match easily by 9 wickets. Jaswinder and Arshad played unbeaten knocks of 46 and 36 runs respectively, while extras contributed 13 runs to the total. For Ramban Cricket Club, Muddasir took the lone wicket to fall. Jaswinder was adjudged man of the match for his superb knock of 46 runs.
