EHSAAS T20 Cricket Tournament gets underway

POONCH, Nov 13: EHSAAS T20 Cricket Tournament, organised by EHSAAS Foundation got underway at Sports Stadium, here today.
The first match was played between Mandi XI and CEO Club wherein CEO Club defeated the Mandi XI Club by 3 wickets.
Batting first, Mandi XI scored 106 runs by losing 5 wickets in 20 overs. Waqar and Sunny scored 23 and 20 runs respectively. For CEO Club, Kafeel took two wickets.
In reply, CEO Club chased the target in 18 overs for the loss of 7 wickets. Aman scored 33 runs. For Mandi XI Club, Waqar and Farooq took 2 wickets each.
In second match, YCC trounced Amjad XI by 3 wickets. Batting first Amjad XI scored 118 for the loss of 10 wickets in 20 overs. Kumail and Khawar scored 35 and 17 runs respectively. For YCC, Waheed and Abid took 3 and 2 wickets respectively.
Waheed and Amit scored 23 and 22 runs respectively for YCC while for Amjad XI Club, Khawar, Rouf and Murakarab took 2 wickets each.
The matches were officiated by Rajinder Singh Toofan, Pervaiz Ahmed, Gurmeet Singh and Toheed Ahmed while ARTO Poonch, Yougal Kishore was the chief guest of today’s matches.
