JAMMU, Jan 14: Challenger Cricket Club (CCC) scripted resounding win over Wave Cricket Club (WCC) by 10 wickets and qualified for the next round of the ongoing KC Sports Club Cricket Tournament, being sponsored by KC Hyundai, Jammu.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, WCC scored 117 runs in stipulated 20 over. Balbir was the top scorer with 53 runs and Charanjeet contributed with 13 runs.
For CCC side, Rahul Mussa was the pick of the bowler with 5 wickets and Mudassir claimed 3 wickets.
In reply, CCC played valiantly and chased the target in 13.3 overs with all 10 wickets in hand. Ishaan played a splendid inning and scored 78 runs, whereas Ashu Bansi Lal made 36 runs.
Rahul Mussa of Challenger Cricket Club (CCC) was declared as man of the match.
The match was officiated by Rajinder Singh and Sandeep Manchanda as umpires, whileas Suresh maintained the scorecard.
