JAMMU, Feb 3: The Inter-CBSE Schools (Under-17) Volleyball Tournament came to an end at MV International School, Bantalab. The final matches in both boys’ and girls’ categories left the audience on the edge of their seats, with exceptional performances from all teams. In the boys’ final, MV International School defeated MHAC Nagbani School by 2-0, with scores of 25/15 and 25/20. The girls’ final saw Carmel Convent School overcome APS Kaluchak by 2-0, winning with scores of 25/21 and 25/9.
The event was honoured by chief guest Umesh Sharma, SDM Vijaypur, who presided over the finals, and Principal APS Samba, Sanjeev Pradhan, who was the special guest. MV International School’s Director, Gourav Abrol and Principal, Kundan Lal Dogra, were also present along with the school’s staff and students.
Earlier in the day, MV International School and MHAC Nagbani School emerged victorious in the semi-finals, defeating APS Kaluchak and Sainik School Nagrota, respectively. The tournament featured 21 teams from Jammu, Samba and Kathua.
